AC Milan have placed a starting valuation on striker Krzysztof Piatek amid links with a move to Chelsea, a report claims.
Piatek joined Milan in January, arriving in a €35million deal from fellow Serie A side Genoa, where he had an explosive start to the season.
The Poland international netted 22 goals in Serie A last season including nine for the Rossoneri, however he has struggled for form since the end of the last campaign.
The 24-year-old did score his first goal from open play of the 2019-20 season off the bench against Lecce, and it is hoped that new head coach Stefano Pioli can get him back firing again.
According to Calciomercato.com, Piatek has been linked with a move to Premier League side Chelsea in recent weeks, but the London club have taken no concrete steps towards trying to sign him.
The report continues to add that Milan would ask for at least €35million if an approach were to be made at present.
The Blues have been credited with interest in Piatek before, as it was reported that Frank Lampard is seeking a quality alternative to Tammy Abraham, with Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi failing to convince thus far.
