It had been presumed that Olivier Giroud would get the nod to start up front against the Friulians, having netted a brace against Napoli which ended his goal drought and with six days between the games.
However, Calciomercato.com report that it is in fact Jovic who is heading towards a starting spot in Milan-Udinese. Stefano Pioli is increasingly inclined to trust the Serbian striker from minute one, thus preserving Giroud for the PSG match on Tuesday.
For the former Fiorentina and Real Madrid man, the game against a winless Udinese side is potentially a great opportunity for him to break his duck, given that he is yet to score a goal since his arrival in the summer and has not really made much contribution.
