Milan still have some positions to fill before the transfer window closes and one of them is right-back, as Stefano Pioli wants an alternative to Davide Calabria. A new attempt is ready for Diogo Dalot, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri’s sporting director Ricky Massara has stayed in touch with Dalot’s agent. Milan consider him the first choice for the right-hand side and are thus planning a new attempt.

The first offer was a loan with an option to buy and it was presented a few weeks ago, but Man Utd rejected it. For the time being, the English side have not opened to this formula and would like it to be a permanent exit.

Dalot would ‘gladly return’ to the Rossoneri, per the report, and Massatra will present a new offer in the next few days (with higher figures). It remains to be seen if this will be enough to convince Man Utd.
