CM: Milan stand firm on €150m demand as PSG prepare Leao attempt

Rafael Leao is yet to renew his contract with AC Milan and it’s not exactly strange that he has been linked with several big clubs over the last few months. PSG are the latest side to join the race, a report claims.

Leao’s contract will expire in 2024 and Milan have been working on the renewal for several months now. As reported by Calciomercato.com, in spite of having made no progress lately, the Rossoneri are still confident that they will secure the renewal.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are planning for the future and since the likes of Leo Messi and Kylian Mbappe could leave, they need strong replacements. Leao could be one of them and he’s the main focus of sporting director Luis Campos.

As per the report, Milan are still rooted to the €150m price tag (the same as the release clause) and PSG might be able to pay it. On the other hand, if the renewal doesn’t get done in time, the French side would have some leverage in the negotiations.

The question, therefore, is whether the Rossoneri are willing to sell Leao for less than €150m if the offer is good.
