According to Calciomercato.com, Milan will make an attempt to sign Juan Miranda from Real Betis in January as the deputy to Theo Hernandez, but perhaps more importantly they will try to agree a deal for Jonathan David in view of next season.
In football the player’s will always has a notable specific weight, as Milan found out this summer in each of their negotiations, and Milan have gained the ‘strong approval’ of the striker who has various offers and is destined to leave Lille in 2024.
The Canadian international, it should be remembered, has a contract expiring in 2024 and has not yet opened up to a possible renewal which means Lille are likely to be forced into selling.
CEO Giorgio Furlani could become the key to this operation, even more so than in the others already concluded. He can leverage excellent relations with Lille to try to close the operation in January with a view to next summer.
At the moment this is a possibility that is being carefully examined but it cannot be ruled out that the club could soon move on to the operational phase.
