There was a worrying moment early on during the win against Lazio yesterday as Rafael Leao limped off with a thigh problem, and the numbers without him in the team are worrying.

As Calciomercato.com report, the problem that Leao has sustained puts him in doubt for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Inter. The Portuguese winger went off for a right adductor strain, and it means that he could be absent for at least the first derby.
Without Leao, Milan are a different team with only one win in the eight games he hasn’t strated this season. Five draws and two defeats (against Napoli and Fiorentina) show just how important he is to the team, given he is the main attacking threat and so much passes through him.
Even in the last season the trend was similar. He missed five games, which resulted in two wins plus two defeats and a draw. Even when he starts from the bench, the results don’t come: in the current season Pioli has started him on the bench on six occasions and the only win came against Monza.
