The Milan management fully intend to resolve the long-term future of left-back Theo Hernandez, according to a report.
After a long season with 8 goals and 8 assists in 42 official games, Theo Hernandez is currently having a rest, in large part because France boss Didier Deschamps did not call him up for the European Championships starting this month.
Calciomercato.com writes that Theo is non-transferable which essentially means that he could only leave if a colossal offer of around €80m or more arrived – a bid that any club, in the times of the pandemic, would be obliged to take into consideration.
The former Alaves star is happy at Milan though and he has Maldini’s confidence, he feels valued and esteemed from a sporting point of view. Soon, he could also feel that from an economic point of view too.
The club are expected to discuss an adjustment of his contract expiring in 2024. Theo earns €1.5m net per season at present and the Rossoneri’s idea is to double his salary, a reward that he deserves and that should arrive this summer.
