CM: Milan could sign teenage midfielder from Chelsea on loan with option deal

New names continue to be linked with AC Milan each day, and the latest idea seems to be a Chelsea midfielder that is not Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, chief scout Geoffrey Moncada and his team have no shortage of ideas when it comes to how to strengthen the midfield, but it seems like Youri Tielmans can be crossed off the list.

An offer of €3m net per season was not enough to convince Tielemans to join Milan, as he has chosen to stay in the Premier League and signed a long-term contract with Aston Villa worth €5m per year.

CEO Giorgio Furlani doesn’t want to stand by and is ready to move for an alternative target: Carney Chukwuemeka. He is considered one of the best talents in English football, with an imposing physique and good technique.

Chukwuemeka and Milan were already linked back in the summer of 2022 when Massara and Maldini presented a €15m bid to Aston Villa. In the end Chelsea paid €24m, beating the competition from the Rossoneri.

Now Moncada has returned to office to try and sign Chukwuemeka and he could arrive on loan with an option to buy. The 19-year-old wants more playing time, and at the beginning of next week Milan are planning talks.
