CM: Milan eye triple raid on Lille including goalkeeper, winger and head coach

With just four games left to play, it will come down to the wire for Milan as the Champions League race is still wide open for the four clubs involved, fighting over three spots. Nevertheless, the management is also looking at the future.

In addition to some signings, there could also be a managerial change at Milan for next season, as recent reports have suggested. Of course, it will all depend on the outcome of the top-four race, securing a return would earn Stefano Pioli a stay.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have turned to Lille for both a few potential signings and managerial candidate. The relations between the clubs are excellent, as Elliott Management have been involved in the club as well.

Mike Maignan and Jonathan Ikone are the players in question, with the former being the option if Gigio Donnarumma decides to pack his bags. As for the winger, Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and chief scout Geoffrey Moncada are all of the belief that it would be a good signing.

Then there is the managerial situation, as Pioli is yet to secure his spot on the bench for next season. If it comes to replacing the former Fiorentina boss, Milan are keeping tabs on Lille manager Christophe Galtier, who has really impressed since he took over the club.
