CM: Milan and Inter considering January move as Porto set €10m price tag

Medhi Taremi was heavily linked with a move to AC Milan this past summer but the negotiations broke down in the final weeks of the mercato. In January, there could be a derby between the Rossoneri and Inter.

Taremi has started the season with just two goals in ten appearances across all competitions, perhaps distracted by what happened in the summer. His contract with Porto will expire in June 2024 and he could move already in January.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan still have the Iranian international on their wish list but have not decided whether to make a move in January or in the summer. In the meantime, Inetr are also monitoring the situation amid Marko Arnautovic’s injury.

Porto want at least €10m for the striker in January, which they have already told the Milanese clubs. It remains to be seen if a derby will break out in three months, or if both sides will wait until the summer.

For now, however, Milan will rely on Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor and Luka Jovic for the No.9 role.
