According to Calciomercato.com, Alejo Veliz is a talent that is attracting a lot of interest in Italy given he scored three goals in four games at the U20 World Cup win Argentina and has 11 goals in 22 league games for Rosario Central this season.
Torino have already presented a first offer to Rosario but Milan are also very much interested. Chief scout Geoffrey Moncada and sporting director Antonio D’Ottavio have been following him for months and are convinced by his quality and potential.
Veliz is an old-fashioned striker as he is very strong in the air, he moves well in the penalty area and works a lot for the team off the ball too. The plan of his agents is to work on a transfer to Europe immediately.
There is an important detail collected by Argentine sources close to the player: Veliz can leave Rosario Central with the payment of the release clause of €15m. Milan know this and in the coming days will decide whether to strike up a negotiation or not.
