AC Milan have abandoned any idea of selling Tommaso Pobega on a permanent deal this summer, according to a report.
TMW reported that Spezia sporting director Riccardo Pecini met with the Rossoneri leadership and a possible return for Pobega was discussed given his impressive exploits last season. He racked up 6 goals in 20 league games for the Ligurian club, continuing his development.
Atalanta and Fiorentina have also been repeatedly linked with a move for the Primavera graduate but on a permanent deal and not a loan, though it seems that is now off the table as an option.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Milan have made the decision not to sell Pobega on a permanent deal before the end of the month. The 22-year-old has been very impressive in this preseason in the eyes of the management, and could only leave on loan in the event of a couple of new additions for the Rossoneri’s midfield.
