AC Milan firmly believe in the potential of Jens Petter Hauge and even rejected two offers for him in January, according to a report.

Hauge has shown he has great talent and is the club’s top scorer in the Europa League but has only ever played as a left winger so far, where Pioli has players like Rebic, Leao, Diaz, Saelemaekers and Mandzukic who can occupy this position.
The Rossoneri saw their List A slots available reduced from 23 to 22, hence the choice of Stefano Pioli to leave Hauge out of his squad for the knockout stages, to allow the inclusion of the three new signings Tomori, Meité and Mandzukic.
According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan – despite his exclusion from the squad list – believe in the quality of Hauge, so much so that in January they did not even remotely consider the idea of him leaving despite loan bids from Stuttgart and Southampton.
