CM: Milan would sell Wolves, Spurs target to sign €26m midfielder

AC Milan will sell Franck Kessie if €35million offer arrives so they can make a move for Dennis Praet, according to a report.

It appears that Kessie faces an uncertain future with the Rossoneri due to doubts over his ability to adapt to Marco Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 system.

It has previously been reported that the new head coach will have the final say on the Ivorian’s future, with a ‘rich offer’ from China already having arrived.

Calciomercato.com offer an update on the former Atalanta man’s future by firstly noting that he has returned to training with the squad and met Giampaolo for the first time.

However, the club’s hierarchy have put Kessie on the list of players who could be sold, and Milan have set their asking price at €35million for the 22-year-old.

Should they manage to sell him, they will then move for Sampdoria’s Dennis Praet, who has a release clause of €26million.

However, with the English transfer window closing on Thursday, Milan face a race against time if they are to sell Kessie for a sizeable fee.

The player is believe to have attracted interest from several clubs in Premier League, including the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Wolves, the latter two of whom reportedly are monitoring his situation.

It has been claimed though that he would reject a move to Wolves.
