CM: Origi has already told Liverpool he intends to join Milan – the figures and details

Divock Origi has been heavily linked with AC Milan in the last few weeks as his contract with Liverpool will expire in the summer. The final agreement is very close as just details remain, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are looking for a striker as Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic aren’t exactly getting any younger. Furthermore, the Origi move appeals to the club a bit more since he will be a free agent.

According to Calciomercato.com, Origi is close to signing a four-year deal worth €4m per year (including bonuses) with Milan. He has put other offers on hold and the negotiation is heading towards a positive conclusion.

The parties are working on the final details, regarding the bonuses and the sign-on bonus, and then just the go-ahead from Elliott Management will be needed. Origi has already told Liverpool that he won’t be renewing as he intends to join Milan, enthusiastic about the project after a phone call with Paolo Maldini.
