CM: PSG enquire about Milan star through agent – Maldini has prepared the counter-move

Paris Saint-Germain still want to sign Theo Hernandez from AC Milan but a counter-move is planned by Paolo Maldini, a report claims.

Theo arrived at Milan from Real Madrid back in 2019 as Maldini showed a great deal of faith in the Frenchman to snatch him from Los Blancos, and since then he has asserted himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in Europe, racking up 13 goals and 11 assists over his two seasons so far.

Calciomercato.com writes that in his third season in Italy, the 23-year-old wants to raise his level even more to become the best in the world in his role. However, PSG are also attentive to his development, and their sporting director Leonardo tested the player’s availability through his agent for more than a month without finding any particular openings.

At Milan, Theo feels at home and wants to continue his adventure under the orders of Pioli. So much so that at the end of August a meeting between the management and the entourage of the French player is expected. The idea is to raise his current salary of €1.5m by giving him a salary close to the top earners in the squad.
