According to Calciomercato.com, the bid that has been accepted is worth €20m including bonuses. The documentation relating to the transfer remains to be prepared, but the details have all been agreed and Pulisic will be summer signing number four.
Aside from the cost of the operation, the impact of the player’s desire to wear the Milan shirt should be underlined, given that a higher offer from Olympique Lyonnais was rejected a few days ago.
A four-year contract is ready for the former Borussia Dortmund star, with just a bureaucratic process to be completed which will be followed by his medical and the signing of his contract. The hope is that all of this gets done in time for the start of the preseason camp at Milanello on Monday 10 July.
Last season, Pulisic only got one goal and two assists in what was a turbulent season for the Blues, but he had a positive World Cup with the USA national team in Qatar.
Now Milan – who are also negotiating for his compatriot Musah – will rely on ‘Captain America’ to help the new No.10 Rafa Leaoin an attacking department more oriented to dribbling than ever.
