According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have made the decision to try and sell Messias before the summer transfer window ends because he is not considered a part of the project nor a part of Stefano Pioli’s plans for 2023-24.
Torino have expressed an interest in signing the Brazilian and attempted to start negotiations but were put off by two things: Giorgio Furlani’s request for €7-8m as a transfer fee, plus resistance from the player himself.
The report adds that Messias would like to stay with the Rossoneri and complete his contract expiring in 2024. It seems he is not convinced by the idea of joining Torino at present, while Bologna are also interested too, but both will have to persuade him to leave.
