CM: Wolfsburg initiate talks with Milan over Rebic and midfielder could be involved

Ante Rebic is no longer at the top of the pecking order at AC Milan and the two are expected to part ways in the summer. The Croatian winger has already attracted interest from Germany, more specifically Wolfsburg.

Rebic has found the back of the net three times this season and in the last few weeks, getting the chance to prove himself, he has struggled a lot. Therefore, Milan have already decided to part ways with him in the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, as cited by SempreMilan.it, Wolfsburg have initiated talks with Milan over Rebic. Their manager Niko Kovac is a big fan of Rebic and would like to bring him to the team this summer.

The relations between Milan and Wolfsburg are excellent, as evidenced by the deal that brought Aster Vranckx to the Rossoneri. The midfielder could perhaps be involved in Rebic’s departure, with a straight swap in practice but two separate deals of €12m each on paper so that both clubs get the capital gain.
