Watch: Comotto continues excellent season with well-taken goal for Italy U19s

Christian Comotto’s positive season continues as he got on the scoresheet for Italy’s U19 side on Wednesday night.

Comotto scored the third goal for Italy U19 in their 3-0 win over Hungary yesterday, arriving at the far post to meet a flick-on and finish past the goalkeeper. It added some gloss to the scoreline in what was a very solid performance overall from Alberto Bollini’s side.

The 17-year-old is also beginning to shine for Spezia in Serie B. The Milan management are closely monitoring the progress of their academy talent, aware they have an asset with huge potential on their hands.

If this trend continues, a loan to a Serie A club could follow for 2026-27 (Parma have been linked). However, he was part of the first team retreat last summer, and if he keeps playing at such a high level he might well just keep his place in the squad.
