I get that we want reinforcement, but using Vlahovic and Kolo Muani as examples of Juventus having better strikers is hilarious.
Vlahovic and Kolo Muani are literally Morata and Tammy.
Vlahovic has 7 goals this season in serie A, 4 are from penalties. Morata has 5 goals from open play.
Kolo Muani has 2 goals, 1 from penalty, just like Tammy.

However both have proven to be elite in the recent past, our two never have been.

Anyway I’m mostly saying they are trying to improve their squad, we need to move ourselves quick.
We aslo have to bear in mind the huge windfall we have coming in terms of funds from players who are out on loan and will be purchased in summer. There should be lots of money available

Vlahovic and Kolo Muani have proven nothing but being two of the biggest busts in football history based on transfer fees.
85m for Vlahovic, 95m for Kolo Muani and both Juventus and PSG have gotten nothing from them that’s why they are trying to get rid of them both.
Kolo Muani had 1 good season in Germany while Vlahovic had good season and a half at Fiorentina, while at Juventus he has been trash.
I don’t envy Juventus on their strikers.

And yet, Vlahovic has a Serie A strike rate of .44 (goals divided by games) and, for comparison, Filippo Inzaghi’s is .42. In the Champions it’s .50 to .56. So, like almost in a dead heat with one of our best strikers ever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kolo can’t cut it at PSG and is only at Juve on a dry loan. Guintoli effed up Koop and Douglas Luiz. I would hardly look at them as a poster child of reinforcement.

Talking about football knowledge like a 6 year old but then he comes and compares a 37 year old who was signed for 3 mil with Vlahovic who was signed for 85m and should be in his prime.
Vlahovic 53 goals 11 assists as a Juventus player in 124 games in his prime years.
Giroud 49 goals and 20 assists as a Milan player in 132 games after age 35.

We need reinforcements but it won’t actually give us depth unless we can add more players that will occupy academy/Italian trained list places.
Otherwise the recruit is just going to mean someone else has to leave.
So the case is we only improve the quality in certain positions (like RB) or maybe fix one hole by creating another.
one RB, one Midfield, one pure striker, and one winger for backup who capable of playing both side is needed
And who leaves to create space for these players to fit on the list of 17 unrestricted player slots?
Okafor and Chuk are unlikely to leave while injured. Emerson won’t leave this soon or it would be a massive admission of failure by management.
Bennacer could find a buyer but looks unlikely on his current level of fitness.
RLC maybe could leave but again unlikely with his injury record.
Calabria or Florenzi could be allowed to leave with their contracts winding down but this does nothing to help List pressure as they occupy special slots. It actually creates more pressure.
As much as our current problem with the attacking department are clear, I think the midfield problem is more urgent.
Reijnders and Fofana have been on the decline for a while now and while it’s not certain, but it’s safe to assume that they’re dealing with exhaustion from playing almost every game and till the final whistle. Musah and Bennacer are rotating with one another, and they can’t really replace any of the former while Loftus-Cheek is injured and has been underperforming since the start of the season.
Abraham is a terrible finisher and Morata is barely playing as a striker on top of being an average finisher, but I believe even they can score more if they receive more and better service from the midfield. Plus, it’s very unlikely we’ll get a quality striker during the winter transfer window.
I’m not against Walker, considering our current problems with the right back, although I’d prefer to be cautious and opt for a short contract first
