CorSera: Fofana wants his future decided within a week – Milan on alert

AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana does not want to spend much longer not knowing which team he is playing for and would like a move to be sealed within the next week.

As reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the French midfielder has put AC Milan on alert as they are trying to come to an agreement with Monaco over his transfer.

Fofana has already got an agreement on personal terms with Milan which means that it is specifically the transfer fee that he has grown tired of.

He has one year left on his Monaco deal and it seems almost certain that he won’t stay, but he wants to know where he is going.

Monaco are continuing to ask for around €35m and Fofana is expected to be back in training on August 1.

If no move is sorted by then, it will be intriguing to see whether Fofana will opt to miss training in order to force a move.

Fofana is not the only midfielder that Milan are being linked with right now but he is certainly the one that they want the most, with there being a strong belief that he can immediately raise the level of the team.
