Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play an important role for AC Milan in the three games that remain of the season, acting as a point of reference for the youngster. The age is taking its toll, though, and this could be his last season.

The Swede has struggled a lot with injuries this season and in order to be available for the remaining games of the season, he’s carrying out a personalised program at Milanello. It says a lot about the situation, but also his importance.

As highlighted by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), his career seems to be coming to an end and winning the Scudetto with Milan would truly be the ‘perfect farewell’ for Ibrahimovic. That’s why he, should they clinch the title, could decide to retire.

Of course, a move to Sweden cannot be ruled out before retirement but the feeling is that Ibrahimovic’s body will oppose that. In any case, this season finale is extremely important for the Swede.
