CorSera: Juventus and Lazio ready to pounce if centre-back decides to leave Milan

Alessio Romagnoli is reportedly attracting interest from two clubs in Serie A as his contract with AC Milan is soon set to expire.

Romagnoli’s future at Milan has never been so uncertain over his six-year spell as it has now, with his deal set to expire next June and the 26-year-old having found himself ousted from the first choice starting line-up by Fikayo Tomori.

Despite this, Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reported last night that negotiations have begun for the renewal of his contract as Milan want to extend his deal. The management plan to make him an offer, but it remains to be seen whether it is deemed appropriate or not by the player and his agent Mino Raiola.

However, this morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via Calciomercato.com) writes that there are two clubs waiting to pounce if Romagnoli does decide to try something new. The first are Max Allegri’s Juventus as they look for a replacement to Chiellini, while the second is Romagnoli’s boyhood club Lazio.
