CM: Request from Kessie’s agent becomes late obstacle in renewal talks

By Oliver Fisher -

The negotiations between AC Milan and Franck Kessie over the renewal of his contract have encountered yet another hurdle, according to a report.

Despite the fact the team have won six of their opening seven games to begin the Serie A season, the headlines continue to be dominated by the uncertainty surrounding the future of Kessie, who is coming off the back of a stellar 2020-21 season in which he established himself as one of the best in his position in the league.

His contract expires at the end of the season, and Calciomercato.com‘s latest update claims that there are two obstacles for Milan to navigate during talks over a potential extension.

The first is predictably the salary issue, with the Ivorian asking for more than €7m plus bonuses which is above what Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have offered so far. The second problem is the commissions that Kessie’s agent George Atangana is requesting, which makes the financial commitment even higher.

I knew it was all about that sack of shit and his commission. This is how PSG and other oil clubs are ruining football, by paying huge commissions to piece of shit managers instead of buying players from clubs.

That is why Gigio let hi contract expire, that is why Kessie will not accept any contact offer in January and club will not be able to sell him, and will rather wait for his contract to expire. So that mountain of dog shit that represents him can get his commission.

Manager commissions should be banned outright

      A good suggestion

  2. lutfi says:

can someone hire a sniper to take out that agent. Much more cheaper than buying new players right

    1. Ixe says:

Just because a person is acting like shit doesn’t mean he should be sniped. Otherwise, we’d end up with less than one third of humanity.

  3. Rajesh Sah says:

At this point, signing Faivre and Vlahovic should be the priority. We know that Milan will only waste time trying to renew with an amount Kessie doesn’t deserve at all.

  4. Nelli says:

I think Kessie is a fine player and Milan are better off with him on the pitch but Milan have to take a stand against these greedy agents. Give Kessie an ultimatum, sign, agree to a sale in January or be frozen out of the club. Send a message that Milan won’t suffer that BS any more

  5. Victor says:

Just help him pack his bags already. This saga is old & boring.Let the dude go.If he refuses to leave in January for a transfer fee,sit his ass on the bench till the expiration of his contract.Problem solved!

  6. Sammour says:

From day one Milan should have automatic 1 year renewal just like Chelsea. Then they take charge. Donnarumma, chaha and now kessie they all became better players because of milan, Maldini is a decent man and he is not used to dealing with sneaks and scorpions like agents…

    1. Lexington says:

True. Automatic 1year extension is a genius move. No one can leave for free

  7. Milanello says:

Maldini couldnt be blackmail by Donnaruma and hakan previously

    Doubt Kessie can blackmail him

    1. Rosso Joburg says:

Cool. but Agent wants Kessie to leave. Only way he will get big pay day.
