Some good news has arrived regarding the condition of Rafael Leao in view of tomorrow’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter.

This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) explains that Leao is feeling better and that the healing process of the elongation of his right adductor is proceeding faster than previously thought.
The Portuguese winger – who was injured on Saturday at the start of the league match against Lazio – no longer feels any pain, a symptom that the therapies he is undergoing are accelerating things beyond expectations.
The former Lille player remains highly doubtful for the match tomorrow and the chances of seeing him in the squad are rather slim, but if until a few hours ago his absence seemed certain, now there is a small glimmer of hope.
Stefano Pioli will only make a decision tomorrow afternoon and if he were to recover then it seems obvious that Leao would still not be a starter, but could come off the bench and play a portion of the match.
The only certainty at the moment is that maximum caution is being taken and there will be no rushing of the times, because it is more important to have Leao at 100% for the return leg six days after.
