CorSport: Brahim Diaz divides fanbase but Milan have clear stance

Brahim Diaz’s two-year loan will expire at the end of the season and his future is rather uncertain. Milan, on the other hand, have a clear stance on the future of the Spaniard as was reported this morning.

Diaz is coming off a decent season with seven goals and six assists. He has been rather inconsistent, though, and that’s why some of the Milan fans have voiced concerns lately regarding signing him permanently.

As reported by Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan and Diaz are both focused on the remainder of the season currently. However, the Rossoneri will sit down with Real Madrid once it’s done and negotiate the price tag of the playmaker.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are keen on keeping Diaz, just as the latter wants to stay, but they will not pay more than €20m to Real Madrid. A lot will depend on the stubbornness of the Bernabeu side, therefore, as they are currently asking for €25-30m.
