Whilst the focus right now for AC Milan is on bolstering the squad in the January transfer window, plans are also being made to improve the attack in the summer ahead of the 2024/25 season.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), there are many names being linked with Milan for a summer move, some new and some old.
The main position that Milan need to focus on for the summer transfer window is centre-forward. Olivier Giroud is going to be out of contract and even if he stays for another year, he will need a better player than Luka Jovic to battle with for a starting position.
Naturally, Milan need to raise money, and there are two players that should help them do that. Rad Krunic’s move to Fenerbahce will be made permanent for €4.5m, whilst they expect to get €23m from Atalanta to make Charles De Ketelaere’s move permanent.
The fist name on the list of strikers still seems to be Lille’s Jonathan David. He is out of contract in 2025 so by the summer, there will only be one year left for him in France.
Milan are expected to talk more seriously with Lille once the January window has closed.
