Brahim’s loan from Real Madrid will expire at the end of this season, and today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) has offered the latest news on what the future might hold for the playmaker.

The management’s idea is to permanently sign the Spaniard after his three-year loan spell at the club but the negotiation will not be easy at all, as there a gap between what Milan are willing to pay and the demands of Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are asking for around €30m to permanently sell Brahim Diaz, a sizeable figure that would be a high portion of the Rossoneri’s summer budget. Paolo Maldini, on the other hand, would be willing to offer €18-20m for the 23-year-old.

Meetings are scheduled for the next few days to speak with both the player himself and the team from the Spanish capital. The gap seems large and will need filing down, while the will of Brahim could also be key.
