CorSport: Pioli has four ideas in mind to replace suspended Giroud

AC Milan will be without top scorer Olivier Giroud for Saturday’s game against Udinese at the Dacia Arena due to suspension, leaving Stefano Pioli wondering how to replace him.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) recall how Giroud was booked against Salernitana thus reaching the threshold of five yellow cards for the season which results in a one-match ban which he will serve on Saturday before returning for the game after the international break against Napoli.

Pioli actually has four choices to replace Giroud this weekend with Divock Origi being the most obvious choice, Zlatan Ibrahimovic who could get his first start of the season, and Rebić who scored twice in the 4-2 win in the return game and finally Charles De Ketelaere.

With Giroud out of the starting XI Milan have won only once, and that came back in October against Monza. The other absentee will be Junior Messias who sustained a hamstring problem during the draw against Spurs.
