With the new stadium development now going full steam ahead, last Thursday’s edition of il Corriere di Milano – as cited by MilanNews.it – offered an insight into the two competing designs.
They described it as a ‘cathedral versus wedding rings’, with the design from American giants Populous featuring glass spires and lots of light, while the Italian firm Manica-Cmr have a design featuring two rings that cross over.
Now, a picture of the former has been revealed in Monday’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport, via Isak Moller on Twitter.
