There are a few players in the AC Milan squad that will be getting a bigger role in the second half of the season. Malick Thiaw and Aster Vranckx are two good examples of this, a report claims.
The young duo have been getting the chance a few times this season, especially in the final games, and their playing time will increase next year. As per Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli has a clear plan on how to make the gel with the rest.

Thiaw has already shown his strength at the back, while Vranckxc was crucial off the bench in Milan’s 2-1 win against Fiorentina (sent in the cross for the own-goal). This hasn’t gone unnoticed and they will be rewarded.
A pölayer that will continue to get playing time but that must prove himself is Divock Origi. The expectations were quite high when he arrived and while he has shown glimpses of his quality (the goal vs. Monza), more is needed from him in the No.9 role.
All three will be important for Milan during the winter pre-season, with friendlies against Arsenal, Liverpool and PSV Eindhoven scheduled.
Thiaw and Vranckx already showed they have good potential as young players.
Origi on the other hand, he really needs to step up his game asap. He’s from Liverpool and a Champions League winner. But his form looks unstable so far compare to 36 years old Giroud.
