CorSport: Two solutions could get Raiola’s approval on renewal of Donnarumma

Agent Mino Raiola wants to insert a conditional release clause into the new contract of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims.

The Rossoneri must try and secure the renewal of their star shot stopper sooner rather than later or they risk letting him leave for nothing next year, as his contract expires in 2021, though several reports have filtered optimism regarding the situation.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), once the renewal is sorted for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, negotiations will begin for the renewal of Donnarumma.

In the last few hours another option has come up to try to find an agreement more quickly, considering that time is running out: Mino Raiola may want to insert a percentage for himself (a sort of commission) on the player’s future sale, as he did with Paul Pogba.

However, this event does not excite Milan. Another option is a release clause that becomes active in the event the Rossoneri do not reach the Champions League, with a €50m figure mentioned.
