Costacurta admits Milan are making ‘bad impressions’: “Do everything to win”

Before the Derby della Madonnina, AC Milan legend Billy Costacurta spoke to the media about the current state of the club and the players, comparing them to the levels when he played.

Milan’s season has been depressing so far, five games, nine conceded, one win. It is a story that, ideally, you could stop reading now. However, it is not that easy, especially with the club reaching a spike this weekend.

The derby comes at an awful time for the Rossoneri, and hopes could not be lower. Alternatively, it could be viewed as a golden chance to begin the season once again, powered by a victory in the biggest game of the season.

On the pitch, there are problems, and the same can be said about off the pitch as well with reports emerging about an internal ‘war’ within the management. Looking at the situation as a whole when speaking to Sky, Costacurta offered his thoughts on things, and his words have been relayed by Milan News.

“The Milan public is used to it. It is used to a team with players who did everything to win. Today, at AC Milan, there are no players who do everything to win. And until you convince those players to do everything to win, you lose and you also make bad impressions. The public saw that, that’s why those scenes.”
