If reports are to be believed, Charles De Ketelaere will start from the bench tonight as AC Milan take on a struggling Cremonese side.

As SempreMilan.it write, if De Ketelaere were to start on the bench tonight it would be for the fifth consecutive game and that would obviously attract some attention given he arrived in the summer transfer window in an operation worth €38m.
The Belgian playmaker has been unable to maintain a starting role in Pioli’s plans and it seems the head coach now prefers the more experienced Brahim Diaz in the role of attacking midfielder, or even Rade Krunic.
In this first season with the Rossoneri, De Ketelaere has so far collected 17 appearances with one assist, too small a return to be considered a successful investment. However, time is all on the side of the former Club Brugge star who will certainly develop as the season goes on.
The hope is to carve out a constantly important role in the hierarchies of Pioli, but for now he will have to earn that by performing well off the bench.
