MN: De Ketelaere waiting to announce himself – he aims to be a protagonist vs. Napoli

Stefano Pioli made the choice not to start Charles De Ketelaere against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday, and now the Belgian is expected to perform in Sunday’s big game against Napoli.

MilanNews writes that Milan managed to get the win against Dinamo Zagreb to allow them to breathe a bit ahead of the double clash with Chelsea in the Champions League, but they will have to play at an even higher level against Napoli who also have 14 points from their opening six league games.

The attack is not in the best of shape as Olivier Giroud is the only fit centre-forward and Rafael Leao is suspended, with Ante Rebic and Divock Origi injured. This clears a path for De Ketelaere to support Giroud and potentially even be a protagonist himself.

The Belgian is waiting for that one moment where he can announce himself with a goal and what better moment than in a huge top of the table clash. The Rossoneri have not beaten the Partenopei at home in Serie A since 14 December 2014, and King Charles could help end the hoodoo.
