Di Marzio: Brest winger ‘no longer a track that Milan are on’ but ‘we will see if anything changes’

AC Milan do not consider Romain Faivre to be a transfer target any more after the recent turbulent period, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Faivre was heavily linked with a move to Milan and he took matters into his own hands by not showing up for a Brest away game, which angered his club enough for them to take him off the market and he did not get his move to Milan.

He also caused a storm by giving an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport last week where he dropped a strong hint that he is gearing up for a move to Milan still, even claiming he has spoken to former Monaco team-mate Fode Ballo-Toure about the club.

Di Marzio of Sky Italy spoke on the YouTube channel of Carlo Pellegatti (via PianetaMilan) and confirmed that Faivre is ‘no longer a track that Milan are on’. He added that ‘as of today’ the 23-year-old winger is no longer an objective for the Rossoneri management, but ‘we will see if anything changes later on’.
