According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the final bureaucratic details have now been sorted out meaning De Ketelaere is now ready to begin his adventure with Atalanta, leaving Milan after just one season.

The deal will be a paid loan with an option to buy and the medical checks will be completed either tomorrow or on Thursday, which will be the Belgian’s last steps before signing his contract with Atalanta.

The 22-year-old joins a new-look attack after the sale of Rasmus Hojlund to Manchester United, with El Bilal Touré and Gianluca Scamacca having already arrived.

La Dea will immediately pay around €3m for the loan deal to Milan and the option to buy is set at €22m plus €4m in bonuses. Furthermore, the Rossoneri will receive a percentage of the amount from any future resale, set at around 10%.
