Di Marzio: Milan planning for Tomori’s permanent stay after perfect integration – his entourage approve

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are already thinking of potentially signing Fikayo Tomori on a permanent basis at the end of the season, according to a report.

There were some eyebrows raised when Pioli made the decision to bench captain Alessio Romagnoli for the trip to the capital yesterday despite the bad recent form he has been in, and Fikayo Tomori did not disappoint as he and Simon Kjaer kept the hosts quiet for the most part.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Tomori has settled fully into life at Milan. He has played 4 games out of 6 since his arrival, including 3 as a starter. He has immediately integrated into a new league and a new country, and it is no coincidence that Milan have already begun to think about how and when to pay the €28million to buy him outright.

Reassurances about his future in the Rossoneri have already arrived, especially if he were to keep playing this way. Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is still monitoring him, but he knows he is starting from a disadvantage.

The player’s agents, on the other hand, have already clarified the player’s stance, talking about a future in Italy given the relationships that immediately arose with his team-mates and with the staff, who were happily impressed by the first tests he had undergone.
