Di Marzio: Samardzic, Chiesa, Abraham – Milan’s work not done after Fofana deal

AC Milan have got the breakthrough they wanted on the Youssouf Fofana front but their work on the mercato is far from done with three more names being eyed, a report claims.

Having reached an agreement with Monaco for the arrival of Fofana, Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan are already working to find another reinforcement to give to Paulo Fonseca. First, however, the Rossoneri must resolve the Pierre Kalulu situation, which has endured a slowdown.

Fofana will be Milan’s fourth summer signing , but he may not be the last. The directors have signed players for the positions outlined at the start of the summer (centre-back, full-back, midfielder and striker), and are now monitoring various opportunities and following different profiles.

Milan is in fact following the evolution of the situations of Lazar Samardzic and Federico Chiesa, who are expected to leave Udinese and Juventus respectively before the window slams shut in a couple of weeks.

Tammy Abraham is the third name that the Milan management are keeping an eye on, having been identified by Paulo Fonseca as the ideal deputy to Alvaro Morata for some time. Milan are following all three situations but are still evaluating whether or not to make a move.
