CorSera: Diaz has told Milan he would like to stay with the club next season

Spanish midfielder Brahim Diaz has told Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara that he would like to stay with the Rossoneri next season even though his loan deal is ending, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the Real Madrid player does not want to go back to his parent club at the end of this season.

He is currently on a long loan from the La Liga champions but it ends after this campaign, meaning Milan need to buy him outright if he is to stay at the club.

That could be a difficult task for the Rossosneri from a financial standpoint, though. There is limited money in the pot to make transfers and the club could want to direct the money into other areas of the squad.

Diaz is certainly an important player though as he has scored six times this season across Serie A and the Champions League.
