Di Marzio: Probable Milan XI for Inter encounter – Gabbia to start again

On Tuesday evening, AC Milan and Inter will face off in the second leg of the Coppa Italia final. It’s an important game for the Rossoneri and the latest report on the starting XI has now arrived.

The first leg ended 0-0 and that means Milan will go through to the final with a draw on Tuesday, as long as they score at least one goal. Another 0-0 draw would, of course, take it to extra time and that’s something both sides want to avoid.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Stefano Pioli is expected to make one change to the starting XI we saw against Genoa. Junior Messias, who came off the bench and scored last time out, will replace Alexis Saelemaekers on the right-wing.

Matteo Gabbia is set to play from start again as Davide Calabria hasn’t returned to group training yet. This could change in the coming days but the feeling is that Pierre Kalulu will be the right-back again.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Messias, Kessié, Leao; Giroud.
