Tuttosport: From dreams to doubts – four transfer targets Milan are currently working on

The Milan management are working hard to improve the squad and there are several negotiating tables currently open, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) begin their round-up by claiming that Charles De Ketelaere is a name that is becoming more and more insistent. He is now the number one target for the role of attacking midfielder but he can also play on the right wing if needed.

The obstacle remains convincing Club Brugge to lower their asking price from €40m, while there is also interest in another forward the Belgian side have in Noa Lang, who will be allowed to leave and would cost about half.

Looking at the centre-back role, Sven Botman is the main target and things looked to be going smoothly but Newcastle United are trying in every way to persuade the player to come to the Premier League.

Botman wants Milan but the economic offer that comes from the Premier League side is the one that Lille want to accept, and given that Botman will not be able to resist indefinitely, Milan have begun probing the ground over Torino’s Gleison Bremer.

Competition for the Brazilian is not lacking but the price should be lower (around €25m). The other option is to bet on Tomori-Kalulu as the full-time starting pairing and to sign a back-up, thus allocating the budget elsewhere.
