Journalist claims Everton and West Ham have enquired about €30m Milan man

Three Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in signing Charles De Ketelaere with Everton the latest, according to a report.

It was a debut season to forget for the Belgian as he failed to score a single goal and registered just one assist, initially gaining a starting spot but losing it and enduring a very difficult second half of the season.

That has led to speculation that De Ketelaere could depart after just one season at the club, especially after Paolo Maldini – one of his big public backers – was removed from his role as technical director.

According to journalist Daniel Speranza who works for MilanPress, West Ham and Crystal Palace have enquired about the 22-year-old, but in the last few hours Everton have also done the same.

For the time being the Milan management are standing firm on their request: €30m would be needed if the former Club Brugge man were to leave on a permanent basis, to avoid a loss in the accounts.
