Fikayo Tomori might just have added his name to the list of free-kick takers after a sensational effort on the training ground today.
While the centre-back was working on set pieces with team-mate Alessandro Florenzi – who of course scored a memorable free-kick in the win over Empoli back in December – the camera caught him stepping up and perfectly curling an attempt up and over a wall and past the motionless goalkeeper, with the ball sailing into the top corner. Florenzi, it would be fair to say, was stunned.
