According to a report from FootMercato, there are currently no guarantees that Ibrahimovic will continue his career at Milan despite the fact Olivier Giroud got a new one-year deal and he will turn 37 this year.

The Swede has suffered from more and more physical problems and he went over 250 days without an appearance from the end of last season to February 2023. There is therefore a chance that the Milan management do not offer him a new deal.

There may be a chance for Zlatan to stay in Italy and even at his current home however, as he has a verbal agreement with Monza who have secured their spot in Serie A for next season.

They are owned by Silvio Berlusconi, a great friend of Ibrahimovic since the striker’s first spell at Milan, while Adriano Galliani is also there. The two friends of Ibra are therefore ready to offer the 41-year-old a chance to stay as a top flight player.
