Paris Saint-Germain have been forced to offer a defender a four-year extension after learning that Theo Hernandez will not leave, a report claims.
Ever since his arrival at the club, Theo has been a huge success for the Rossoneri, quickly becoming a key player in what has been a difficult season. In fact, he has five league goals to his name, making him the second-top goalscorer.
Milan managed to snatch him from Real Madrid for just €20m (via Transfermarkt) and the value has since doubled, if not more.
PSG have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old in recent weeks, but on Thursday the player shut down any exit rumours, stating: “I came here to stay at Milan, I’m having a great season, there is only Milan in my mind, the fans love me, I love the fans and this is the most important thing.”
According to France Football (via @AC_MilanFR on Twitter), PSG were forced into action upon learning that Theo Hernandez will not be sold by Milan this summer and wishes to stay.
The Ligue 1 champions offered Layvin Kurzawa a four-year extension upon hearing the news, after he looked almost certain to leave as a free agent on June 30 when his deal is set to expire.
