From England: Boost for Man Utd and Chelsea as €60m star halts talks with Milan and Juventus

Manchester United and Chelsea have not given up on their hopes of signing Gianluigi Donnarumma from Milan this summer, a report claims.

According to the Daily Mail, the two Premier League giants are keen on upgrading their goalkeeping department by signing Donnarumma on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June.

The Italy international has reportedly put contract talks with the club on hold because he wants to play in the Champions League next season. He has even halted discussions with Juventus over a possible move there because they are not guaranteed to crack the top four either after a torrid season.

He is yet to reach an agreement in principle with Milan and it seems as though his future will not be resolved until the end of the current campaign, with Chelsea and Manchester United ready to pounce in the event he decides to try a new adventure. Transfermarkt has the goalkeeper valued at €60m.
