AC Milan held talks with the entourage of Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu at their headquarters yesterday, a report claims.
Kokcu – a central midfielder who also plays for the Turkish national team – is liked by many clubs in Italy according to Gianluca Di Marzio. Among the teams that are watching him are Milan, who met the player’s entourage (his father and an intermediary) at Casa Milan.
As per Di Marzio, it was a meeting to take stock of the 20-year-old’s future as a hypothesis in view of the summer window, and whole there was no talk of an official offer, a possible future path was sketched.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), yesterday was a day of meetings for the Milan management including one with the father of Kokcu. He showed up at the headquarters in via Aldo Rossi and the paper claims it was a first survey in view of a demanding summer transfer campaign that will only come to life in several weeks.
