From Poland: Entourage claim Spezia defender is very close to joining Milan

AC Milan are ‘very close’ to agreeing a deal to sign centre-back Jakub Kiwior from Spezia, according to what is being reported in his native Poland.

According to a report from Goal.pl, the information has arrived from ‘one of the stadium boxes’ – as confirmed by another source – that Kiwior is very close to transferring to Milan from Spezia. The report adds that someone close to the Poland international even added that ‘everything is done’.

The central defender has certainly been one of the more impressive players for Spezia since the start of last season and he is currently at the Poland national team’s training camp before their matches against the Netherlands and Wales.

It comes after MilanNews reported in August that Milan managed to obtain the right to first refusal for two Spezia players as part of Mattia Caldara’s move there. One player is Kiwior and the other player is French defender Kelvin Amian.

Kiwior moved Serie A a year ago at the end of the summer window from the Slovak side MSK Zilin.
